Session 6 (Week 14)

Creature concept


Feedback:

During this session we did a group critique session on our creature concepts. I received feedback on my concept that they felt it needed to be more exaggerated. Possibly have the legs behind the body, knees really high up or add more limbs. 

I will create this into a model at home, which will have a metallic, shiny look to it as grasshopper bodies are shiny. This leads me on to making my concepts body looking like armour to the character.

I am currently unsure of how I will undertake this task and I am also unsure as to what materials will be used for the creation.

During this session we learn't to create a jaw for our skull model in ZBrush.





During this session I finally created a base for my clay bust. This is now a suitable size after receiving feedback that the size was too small from the previous week.

This session was an introduction into the software we will be using and went over the briefs for both traditional and digital assignments.

We were introduced to ZBrush and we went over the user interface of the program and also learn't some basic tools and techniques.
